2011 TAVTI/SCRC Training Seminar Information
The 2011 TAVTI/SCRC (Texas Association of Vehicle Theft Investigators/South
Central Regional Chapter) Annual Conference was held in San Marcos, Texas, at the Embassy
Suites Hotel and Conference Center from October 17 - 21, 2011. The conference was
very successful with quality training in several key areas, including intermodal cargo
thefts, vehicle arson, investigative use of social media, covert surveillance, and
interviews/interrogations. Approximately 205 people attended the conference, and
networking opportunities were abundant.
