2)    2007 IAATI Conference Slide Show - Phoenix, AZ - Texas Members in Attendance 

3)    Galveston County Sheriff's Office "Beat The Heat" Race Car    

The car is driven by Galveston Co. Sheriff's Office Lieutenant Tommy Hansen, Past President of IAATI and long-time TAVTI/SCRC member.  Tommy spends a lot of time and effort in the Beat the Heat program.  The vehicle is a 1981 Pontiac Firebird, GM Performance 502 Engine, Turbo 400 Trans with 4400 RPM Stall.  Tommy races with the Tropical Impression Racing Team, the official team of the Galveston County Sheriff's Office.  The team is totally funded by donations and dedication.  The team is a proud member of Beat the Heat, Inc., a unique non-profit organization comprised of firefighters and law enforcement officers from throughout the United States and Canada.  The team also participates in various events, from racing to parades, and is dedicated to raising funds and awareness for various children's charities.
